Conservative Party members from across Dagenham and Rainham have selected Sam Holland as the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Dagenham and Rainham Constituency for the next general election.
Sam was born and raised in Dagenham, the son of a family of Ford Factory workers and was educated at Britton’s Academy in Rainham. He is Dagenham and Rainham to his fingertips.
Sam will be a great champion for local people in a constituency where Labour have taken the people for granted for far too long. He is well placed to stand up for local people here in Dagenham and Rainham and in Parliament as he understands the issues they face having lived them himself.
Commenting after his selection, Sam Holland said, “It is the honour of my life to be selected as the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for where I was born and brought up. I will work as hard as I possibly can to campaign for the better country and future we all want to see. Together, we can restore pride in what it means to be made in Dagenham and Rainham”.
Chairman of the Dagenham and Rainham Conservative Association, Matej Travnicek said, “To beat Labour here we need someone who understands the local area and the challenges residents face. Sam knows our community better than most having been born, raised, educated and worked here. I have no doubt Sam will be able to turn the tide against Labour and make a great Member of Parliament for Dagenham and Rainham”.
