After many media reports stating that Cllr Darren Rodwell, Leader of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, was tying his campaign banners to gravestones, Sam Holland, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Dagenham and Rainham, has launched a petition to Sir Keir Starmer, James Asser (Chair of the Labour National Executive Committee) and David Evans (General Secretary of the Labour Party) to suspend Mr Rodwell.
Sam Holland wrote a letter to Sir Keir to demand he investigate Cllr Darren Rodwell's actions - more than 48 hours have now elapsed with no public response from the Labour Party. It is time to petition them to do something about it. It is time for Mr Rodwell to go.
